How this estimate is built
- Starting point: the university's indicative admission rate for your level.
- Grade: the gap between your converted German grade and the typical admitted grade for the university's selectivity tier.
- English: your score is converted to an IELTS equivalent and checked against a typical minimum (7.0 for the most selective universities, 6.0–6.5 elsewhere).
- Eligibility: the length of schooling or degree that each system usually requires (e.g. 180+ ECTS for a master's, or Studienkolleg for FA/FSc holders in Germany).
- Profile: field demand, work or research experience and, for a PhD, publications.
